Usually, the temperature of IKO bearings begins to rise slowly with the operation of bearings, and reaches a stable state 1-2 hours later. The normal temperature of IKO bearing is different due to the heat capacity, heat dissipation, speed and load of the machine. If the lubrication and installation part are appropriate, the IKO bearing temperature will rise sharply, and abnormal high temperature will occur. At this time, the operation must be stopped and necessary preventive measures must be taken.
The thermal sensor can be used to monitor the working temperature of IKO bearings at any time, and realize the automatic alarm or stop when the temperature exceeds the specified value to prevent the occurrence of burning shaft accidents.
High temperature often indicates that the IKO bearing is in abnormal condition. High temperature is also harmful to bearing lubricants. Sometimes the overheating of IKO bearings can be attributed to the lubricant of bearings. If the bearing in the temperature of more than 125℃ continuous transfer for a long time to reduce the IKO bearing life. Causes of high temperature bearings include: insufficient or excessive lubrication, lubricants. It contains impurities, excessive load, bearing damage ring, insufficient clearance, and high friction caused by oil seal and so on.
Therefore, it is necessary to continuously monitor the IKO bearing temperature, whether it is to measure the IKO bearing itself or other important parts. If the operating conditions are unchanged, any temperature change can indicate that a fault has occurred.
After the installation of IKO bearing, operation inspection should be carried out in order to check whether the installation is correct. Small machines can be turned by hand to make sure they are spinning smoothly. Check items are due to foreign bodies, scars, indentation caused by poor operation, due to poor installation, installation seat processing caused by unstable torque, due to too small clearance, installation error, sealing friction caused by excessive torque and so on. If there is no abnormality, power operation can be started.
Large machinery can not be manually rotated, so after no-load start immediately cut off the power, mechanical idling, check whether there is vibration, noise, rotating parts are in contact, and so on, confirm no abnormal, enter the power operation.
Power operation starts from low speed with no load and slowly increases to rated operation under specified conditions. The check items in the test run are whether there is abnormal sound, the change of IKO bearing temperature, lubricant leakage or discoloration, and so on. If abnormal is found, the operation should be stopped immediately, the machinery should be checked, and the bearing should be removed if necessary.
IKO bearing temperature can generally be inferred according to the external temperature of the bearing seat. However, it is more accurate to directly measure the temperature of the bearing outer ring by using the oil hole. The IKO bearing temperature gradually rises from the start of operation, and the temperature is usually stable after 1~2 hours. If the bearing is improperly installed, the temperature will rise sharply and abnormal high temperature will occur. The reasons such as excessive lubricants, bearing clearance is too small, poor installation, sealing device friction is too large. In the case of high-speed rotation, the wrong choice of IKO bearing structure and lubrication mode is also the reason.
The rotating sound of IKO bearing is checked by stethoscope, etc., and strong metal noise, abnormal sound, irregular sound and so on indicate abnormality. The reasons include poor lubrication, poor precision of shaft or IKO bearing seat, bearing damage, foreign body intrusion, etc.
Bearings need to be removed during regular maintenance and replacement. After disassembly, if you want to continue to use or need to check for investigation, disassembly should be as careful as installation. Attention should be paid to not damaging bearings and parts, especially disassembling interference fit bearings, which is difficult to operate, so the convenience of disassembly should be taken into account in advance in the design stage. It is also very important to design and make disassembly tools as required. During disassembly, the disassembly method, sequence and matching conditions of IKO bearings are studied according to the drawings, so that the disassembly operation can be carried out smoothly.
